Sunstone

Sunstone is a captivating member of the Feldspar family, celebrated for its warm palette of gold, orange, and sun-drenched peach. What distinguishes Sunstone from other peach-colored minerals is its spectacular aventurescence—a metallic "glitter" or schiller effect caused by tiny, plate-like inclusions of copper, hematite, or goethite. When light hits these inclusions, the stone appears to glow from within, reminiscent of the sun’s rays reflecting off water.

While Sunstone is found in several locations globally, each locality offers a unique aesthetic, from the copper-rich brilliance of Oregon Sunstone to the deep, saturated oranges of Indian varieties. It is a stone defined by light, movement, and a cheerful, sophisticated luster.
