Red Quartz, scientifically known as Hematoid Quartz, is a stunning natural combination of clear Macrocrystalline Quartz and heavy concentrations of Hematite or Limonite. This unique partnership results in a stone that possesses the high-vibration clarity of Quartz with the deep, grounding reds and oranges of iron oxide.

The appearance can range from delicate, "strawberry" pink flecks and "harlequin" streaks to deep, opaque rust-red phantoms trapped within the crystal. Because the color comes from internal inclusions, Red Quartz often maintains a glassy luster that allows light to dance through its fiery internal landscape.
